Thirty-five years after the war choreographer Jeroen Boman is working on a performance that commemorates that event. During the winter of 1944/1945 he stayed with a Frisian fishing family.
During the winter of 1944/1945 he stayed with a Frisian fishing family. During this period the first sexual feelings develop in him. When a small group of Canadian liberators arrive, Jeroen is particularly impressed by Walt. They experience each other’s presence as a consolation for everyone’s loneliness. The mutual affection also gradually finds a physical experience.
